Campbell River from the Georgia Strait

...British Columbia, mining, lumber and paper are the order of the day,
up here on Vancouver Island, when it's daylight you make hay;
drawn by the mild weather, surprising at this far north,
retirees have found it, and they are coming forth. 

So if you've a mind to wander, a little of the track,
go on up to Campbell River, and give that life a crack;
you would enjoy the weather, but going to the city is a trick,
boat, ferry, airplane or a combination of those on a stick.
