Clear Lake's the place "where the music died",
They saw the last performance, of the three,
Big Bopper, Richie Valens and Buddy Holly.
We didn't even know, when we made a choice,
that this is the place where music lost a voice,
we're glad that we came, Abby and I,
but I shed a tear, and I seldom cry.
