now it's just another town, to us, but it's home for some, a fort;
it's a convientent stop on Interstate ninety-five,
or for a walk in the park, those things keep us alive.
The town shipped lumber, for the Navy, way back when,
it grew a lot after World War Two, when it took off again;
small towns have a struggle now, sometimes jobs are few,
and people move, mostly young, to try out something new.
