....Kentucky, a living example of the small town life,
each important in its own way, some have strife;
it's important for us to see,
if it weren't for places like this, there'd be no you or me.
Sure people drive to work at some distant place,
but when they come home, it's a slower pace;
or they work on the farm, daylight to dark,
feeding us all, that's no walk in the park.
