....Connecticut, former 'Queen of Clocks',
until a hurricane flood destroyed a few blocks;
manufacturing started very early here,
scythes were first, 1792, was the year.
Like most things, time has changed...
..Winsted too, new things have been arranged;
the Still River Greenway provides recreation,
one of the prettiest walks, in this part of the nation.
